Pastor Don deJuan Massey serves as Senior Pastor of Progressive Church and the overseer of Progressive Christian Academy along with his beautiful wife.

He is a native of Richmond and graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Economics, and from Oral Roberts University , Tulsa , OK with a Masters of Arts in Christian Theology. He is the husband of Karyn Massey. They have six lovely children: Joshua, Kayla, Hannah, Rachel, Phillip, and Micah.

Karyn Massey serves as Progressive’s First Lady. A native of Forestville , MD , Karyn graduated from Hampton University in Hampton , VA with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She went on to receive her Masters of Arts in Christian Counseling from Oral Roberts University . Karyn loves the Lord and her family; she strongly supports her husband’s efforts to advance the gospel message of Jesus Christ and the kingdom of God .

As Progressive’s Senior Pastor, Pastor Massey has a vision for the church to discover the lost, disciple the found, and to deploy the elect by sending them forth to do the work of the ministry.
